BATTISS ARTSCAPE FESTIVAL

Find your inner Fookean, and bring them to Somerset East  to enjoy food, art, parkrun, golf and arts & crafts at the Battiss Artscape, hosted by the Walter Battiss Foundation.

What a blast!  The first Battiss Artscape Festival was held on the 18th and 19th of August 2023.  Thank you to everyone that participated and supported the Walter Battiss Foundation, by attending the inaugural Battiss Artscape Festival.

The Festival started on Friday with a Fooky tasting experience at five different venues throughout the town.  There was a Fook Ferry to take visitors from place to place, so they were able to indulge in the tastings on offer, without the need for a designated driver!

Saturday included a Fook inspired parkrun, a 4-ball American scramble golf day, craft market, art classes with The Travelling Karoo Artist at the Walter Battiss Art Museum, as well as a spit braai and charity auction.

We could not have done this without our sponsors.  A huge shoutout to you, THANK YOU!
